Word-problem study occupied an important position in the middle school mathematics study. Some researches indicated that most mathematically disabled students all had the difficulty in solving word-problem. It was class environment that had a special position for students'development, and it had also affected the students' word-problem study. Mathematical anxiety were one of the emotional factors, which could not be neglected. Therefore, discovering the relationships among class environment, mathematics anxiety and word-problem score would have important value and meanings to the class environment building and teacher's teaching to students' ablity.391 students were selected by Ravan's Standard Progressive Matrices and teachers evaluation from grade 1-3 of middle schools as the participants of this research. Field experiment and clinical interviews were employed to examine the enviroment' and anxiety' factors to word-problem score and the differences between mathematically gifted and mathematically disabled students, to analysis the differences between class and gender, using Word-problem Questionnair, Mathematical Problemsolving Motivation Questionnair, Mathematical Anxiety Questionnair and Our Class Scale. The main findings of the whole research were as follows:1.The mathematically gifted and mathematically dissbled students had marked difficences in motivation of word-problem solving and mathematics anxiety, while there were no distinct differences in the total score of the class environment. According to class enviroment, the factor of emotion influenced the mathematic word-proble score.2.There were no notable differences for mathematic anxiety in grade and gender. And distinct differences for class enviroment in grade, while there were no clear differences for class enviroment in gender.3.The motivation of word-problem solving and mathematic anxiety could predict the word-problem scores. Class environment could not predict the scores ,but it could predict mathematic anxiety to some degree.
