Research And Practice On The Provincial Higher Education Major Quality Network Monitoring System

As higher education is developing quickly, the development pattern of higher education has shifted from the extension expansion to the connotation construction. The quality of higher education has attracted more and more attention of all walks of life. On the basis of theory and practice, the thesis aims to explore a new pattern of provincial level major quality management in net era, and to construct a set of net-based, scientific and efficient quality monitoring system for higher education.Beginning with the defining of the basic concepts, such as higher education major quality in China and provincial major quality and network monitoring system, it explores and summarizes the connotations and features of the major quality and network monitoring system of higher education. Then, it probes into the internal and external factors influencing higher education major quality, analyzes the relationship between monitoring and evaluation, and that between provincial external monitoring and institutions' internal monitoring, and finally proposes the basic principle of constucting major quality monitoring system.By making use of systems analysis, the thesis tries to construct a basic model of higher education major quality network monitoring system on the ground of system base, system composition and implement,and finishes the designs of all subsystems,including targeting system,metrics system,tissue system,object-oriented system,institution system and activity system. Based on the basic construction model, it sets up the basic frame of higher education major quality network monitoring system.From the aspect of practice, it nails down the monitoring metrics system, and takes full advantage of the combination of supervision theory and modern information technology. Reling on net environment, and combined theory with practice, it builds and implements a set of provincial higher education major quality network monitoring system with high commonality and applicability. It also conducts simulation analysis on the application and effect of its partial functions.
