| With the development of the modern educational information technology, nowadays distance education becomes popular all over the world. Until 2000, many universities have built up their international sub-schools to carry out distance education in order to realize Self-regulated Learning and share resources indeed. Our country runs the project on web-based courses for the new education pattern at the beginning of the new century, in the hope to exploit a lot of web-based courses. Furthermore, our country has been a member of WTO since 2001, according to General Agreement on Trade in Services; distance education becomes one of four educational open fields. Obviously, it is demanding and needed to establish web-based courses with high quality to follow the global development. So, it is greatly significant to explore and study the theories of developing, constituents of web-based courses, principles of design, managing mode as well as the process and approaches of compiling web courses. The thesis analyzes previous studies on web-based courses in china with many modern education theories and information technologies. And it selects Teacher Leading-Student Main body, the best pattern of web-based course. By contrasting several web-programming technologies, this thesis takes HTML, VBScript and JavaScript technique to exploit this new pattern of web-based courses. At the same time, it makes use of a Stream technique to build up the microteaching laboratory which can transform files into Stream media by software Mpegtool and Helix ProducerPlus9.0.1, thus the high qualified audio and video information can be uploaded successfully. ASP/ADO technique is adopted to design dynamic webs for the connection between interview and database. To prove that the websites are efficient, interactive and open, this study pays great attention to exploring how to upload students' assignments and establish forum, which makes communications of users-to-computer and users-to-users come into being. This study especially investigates the managing system of the website for uploading and updating resources conveniently. The present study is based on the curriculum of Science Instructional Design and Practice focused on experimental operation. The curriculum is for college students without teaching experience in normal universities. Therefore, this web-based course adopts the strategy that students comprehend theories by practice while planning the web-based course. Besides, the strategy provides the context and opportunity for students to reflect, inquiry, experience. That is to say, we should make full use of students' typical teaching cases and excellent teacher's demonstration (video teaching resource). Therefore, on the one hand, teaching can be carried on by vivid examples for students. On the other hand, students can discuss and communicate before teachers analyzing teaching cases by theories. It includes microteaching laboratory, electronic teaching plan, students' opus, exercise and test, instruction forum and resource. Furthermore, the design of the curriculum integrates them together and constructs the Cross-Crossing online studying environment, which helps students' initiative awareness of "learning by doing" by websites. This thesis consists of six parts. Chapter one reviews and analyzes previous studies from 1997 to 2006 to find out advantage and limitations in the study of web-based courses. Chapter two and three investigates relevant theories and techniques of developing web-based course. Chapter four is systematic analysis of Science Instructional Design and Practice, introducing its developing setting, arts arrangement as well as instructional design. Chapter five illustrates the implement of techniques demonstrating how techniques in each model are developed and carried out in details. Chapter six starts with summarizing the whole study, and then it points out limitations of the present study and directions for further research. |
