Study Of Master Degree Program In Gifted And Talented Education Implemented By College Of Education In American Higher School

The gifted and talented are valuable human resources for a country. Attaching importance to gifted and talented education has much strategetic and realistic significance for a country. Training good quality teachers becomes the key issue to implement gifted education. America as a developed country pays much attention in gifted and talented education and teachers training for this field. Master degree programs in gifted and talented education by the college of education in American higher schools prepare much teachers,administrative teachers and researchers of this field for American elementary and middle schools.This article explores the background, current status and characteristics that master degree program in gifted and talented education in college of education has, and analyzes the reasons of having such characteristics.
