The research into teaching methods is one of the groping tasks for educators. Elementary education major is a rising phenomenon aiming at cultivating elementary teachers in the system of high-level normal education. In the new round curriculum reform of elementary education, Moral and Life, Moral and Society are newly added courses for compulsory education students. In order to provide competent elementary teaching staff, the teaching research into elementary social courses is offered by elementary education major. It is a problem elementary education teachers are now facing and need to solve in teaching practice in order to give their students good lessons in Moral and Life (Moral and Society).The research aims at solving this problem. It sets forth that when analyzing the contents of the Teaching Research into Elementary Social Courses, the teaching methods of Moral and Life (Moral and Society) should be paid attention to(case teaching should be applied), and the teaching practice should be realized in education practice. The exploration in theory and reflection on practice in terms of the teaching contents, teaching methods and teaching practice have been made to serve the teaching of this course by making use of the research results.
