In recent years, colleges and universities have been introducing a large number of young teachers (under 40 years old)to ease the problem of teacher shortage becouse of rapidly expanding of students. the proportion of young teachers in colleges and universities is increasing. In this context, it is an important topic placed before every college administrators that mining potential of young college teachers, and fully mobilizing the enthusiasm, initiative and creativity. And the key is an effective incentive mechanism. So the construction and improvement of incentive mechanism ,proposed in this paper, is becomimg a very important practical significance.The first, this paper expounds the related incentive concept and the major western motivation theory. The Second,connecting with the characteristics,this paper analysises the incentive elements of the young teachers, and try to provide the incentive model of young teachers. Finally,on the basis of the above,the paper proposes the overall ideas of incentive mechanism: Firstly, improving the personnel training mechanism to improve young teachers' working ability;Secondly,improving the working conditions for the development of young college teachers;Thirdly,establishing the teacher evaluation mechanism and promoting the comprehensive development of young college teachers; Fourthly, reforming deepeningly distribution system to enhance the sense of fairness of the young college teachers; Fifthly, raising the rewarding of the young teachers to meet teacher-led demand; sixly,using incentives to inspire enthusiasm of the young college teachers .
