In the 20th century, there exist two kinds of thoughts science and humanism. Nowadays, with the rapid development of modern science and technology, people so enjoy the various convenient that the science has brought that the science is always dominated in the struggle with the humanism. However, during the resolving the problem of human material needs, the science has bring many irreconcilable contradictions to the world and human, so the people began to focus on humanism again. The 20th century history proves that, it is not in the with the development of human society, if we blindly advocates science or human, and the pure science and humanism. The combination of "Scientism" and " Humanism" is the direction of development of human society. The 20th century also is the era that the concept of scientific education and the humanistic education mutually contest, to solve the extreme of "Utilitarian" and "Individualism" in the education, there inevitably formed the scientific humanism education. The concept of scientific humanism education concerns of human development and the embodying the human value. It consistent with the Marxist education philosophy and meets the direction of education development in China. In the past 100 years, scientific education dominate the development of physical education curriculum in China. In teaching practice, it attaches much importance to the "basic knowing, basic skills and basic abilities" of the students, the needs of the community and the teaching control of the teachers, and seldom considers the students' individual needs and the expression of personal value. The new turn curriculum reform considers the needs of the students, the society and the teachers, that make the great change in the physical education curriculum. This is the double characteristic requirement of humanistic and scientific features in physical disciplines, and scientific humanism education should become the development direction of the Chinese physical education curriculum.During the study, this paper has used the history study, literature survey, survey, comparative study, logical analyses. According to these methods, we try to understand the theory knowledge that are relevant to the study, the status of thought of scientific humanism education in our education thought, the history of physical education reform, the sports curriculum reform in today's development, and the problems existing the physical reform and basis of such information to prove scientific humanism education is not only the development direction of the world education in the future, but also the development direction of our physical curriculum, and it can gives inspiration and solutions to the problems that exist during our development of physical education curriculum reform process.
