The northern area in Bronze Age,whose earlier civilization was influenced by the great change of natural circumstance,began to transit from agricultural civilization to agri-nomadic civilization.The economic pattern that has mixed characters affected the politics and economics of the present northern area in China for a long time.After thriving of Mongolian who possessed every excellent element of nomadic ethnic groups,nomadic education-culture and agricultural education-culture ran through the education-cultural history,which reflected Mongolian education-cultural indigenization,inheritance as well as diversity.Collecting and arranging different material which seen in the related documents and archaeology,the paper attempts to analyze comprehensively the mixed characters of Mongolian education-culture from aspects of moral tradition,production and livelihood,military education,school education,religion education etc.Based on this fact,the paper tries to demonstrate that the duality of education-culture is originated from that of its economic pattern.The economic pattern is neither a flash in the pan,nor a tree with no root.It is the result of natural selection made by northern area's civilization,is the only one that fits the northern ethnic groups.It is the economic pattern that made its education-culture unique and marvellous.
