With the features of easy participating, fierce confrontation, emphasizing teamwork, easy-change situation and combining sports with entertainment, amateur football can attract a wide range of participants amongst football enthusiast. Moreover, its development has made sound foundation for football business. Amateur football in China's development will provide more material football mode.Researching on amateur football in Wuhan city, this article will give some rational suggestions for the further development of amateur football through investigating and analyzing present situation as well as using the precious experiences of other overseas countries for reference in this area. Through the survey, At present, the age structure of the youth amateur athletes of the City of Wuhan Football Club is unreasonable. Young amateur soccer clubs also exist the issues such as high fees, lower level of training, quality is not high culture classes, students narrower way. Although the amateur football team in Wuhan City has begun to take shape, but there are still many problems. Amateur football match system not perfect enough, the tournament level is not high, the lack of good organization and management, the Amateur Football League lack of living space, business development is not perfect enough.In light of these problems, the paper of the Wuhan City Amateur football future development, for instance: to set up non-political amateur football organizations; to establish many-faceted event system so as to hold football match in community, units and schools; to build new operation mechanism of standard management, considerate services and commercial development etc; to strengthen football popularization among youth.At present, there isn't any researches especially aim at certain city's amateur football development in our country. Therefore this article have some exploratory meanings in this area.
