With the implementation, promotion and reflection of the new round basic education curriculum reform, compulsory education mathematics curriculum has become the focus of people's attention. Researches on arguments and adaptations on compulsory education mathematics curriculum have much value. Comprehensively understanding and reflecting the procedures on arguments and adaptations of compulsory education mathematics curriculum will make effective implementation of national curriculum standard and make the compulsory education mathematics curriculum reform more pertinent and effective, which in turn will accelerate the comprehensive, healthy and harmonious development of primary and middle school students on mathematics. This research is aiming at making a concrete analysis and reflection of the arguments on compulsory education mathematics curriculum and reflects the procedures and results of bidirectional adaptations on compulsory education mathematics curriculum which curriculum designers and implementers have made carefully. One of the basic purposes is to foster the healthy development of compulsory education mathematics curriculum. This thesis is composed of six parts:Chapter one introduces the research questions and methods, including the proposing of research questions, research procedures and methods.Chapter two clarifies and defines some important concepts, such as curriculum design, curriculum implementation, curriculum adaptation and curriculum deliberation. It also makes comments on the researches on the reform of basic education mathematics curriculum both at home and abroad.As the most important point of this thesis, chapter three and chapter four arrange and analyze the different attitudes of the current mathematicians, researchers of mathematics education, members of developing mathematics curriculum standard, researchers of primary and middle mathematics curriculum, mathematical teachers on line and so on in our country towards compulsory education mathematics curriculum, which forms the research structure of chapter three and chapter four. Chapter three includes arguments on value orientations of compulsory education mathematics curriculum, arguments on compulsory education mathematics curriculum aims. Chapter four includes arguments on compulsory education mathematics curriculum contents, arguments on compulsory education mathematics curriculum teaching methods and arguments on the new terms of compulsory education mathematics curriculum.Chapter five makes research on the adaptations procedures and results of compulsory education mathematics curriculum. Chapter six is the research conclusions and reflections.
