Geometry curriculum reform has been the focus of attention for nations education sectors around the world. This article began with the value of geometry curriculum, elaborated the necessity of offering the curriculum of geometry, and then analyzed the process of development of the Mathematics curriculum standards about geometry, compared the respective development of geometry of the cross-strait vertically, then compared with the curriculum of Hongkong and Taiwan horizontally, and found that three geometry curriculum of Mathematics have some common characterics, but also have their personalities and characterics. The geometry curriculum of the cross-strait base on the studuents'optimum development, and put the purpose on developing logical thinking ability and capacity to imagine the sapce;the mainland emphasis more on the basis and the popularity of the curriculum,Hongkong and Taiwan's geometry curriculum and content are designed more flexibily, they concern more about the differences in personality development of students, through compulsory and selective courses to meet the needs of students of different aptitudes;because of affecting by the impact of Western Education, the geometry curriculum of Hongkong is simple and the demand of logical proof is relatively low,but emphasis more on introduction of geometry methods;the content of Taiwan's geometry curriculum is more traditional and less"sapce"elements, the content of mainland's geometry curriculum is rich, and the requirements of proof is higher.By analyzing and comparing to the compulsory"space and graphics"area of Mathematics curriculum of the mainland,Hongkong and Taiwan, the writer put forward five items of suggestion about geometry of the mainland's compulsory education in future:â… .Further detailing geometry capacity objectives clearly.â…¡.Designing geometry curriculum and content more flexibily.â…¢.Introducing geometry methods overtly.â…£.Stressing on the combination of horizontal, three dimensional and analytic geometry.â…¤.And strengthening the links with other disciplines and life experiences.
