Conflict And Amalgamation Of PE In Modern China And The West

As a social civilization phenomenon, PE has the speciality own to humanity, it's come into being and development going with the human requirement and social progress, and as an important part of human civilization, and it also is inevitable production of human society. Chinese PE civilization roots in economy, politics, and military affairs of China based on the edifying of Chinese archaic eastern traditional culture. It has full-bodied national characteristic, territorial characteristic and multifarious PE modality. But the western PE coming of old Greece has already formed a scientific system of neoteric economy, politics, civilization, science and education. Opium War opened the door closed the country to international intercourse, it also broken a new path for the import of the western PE. Because of the difference of nations in the lifestyle, background of culture, produced the different national characteristics in PE idea and behave. So the western PE civilization produced an important effect on the Chinese traditional PE culture during the course of it importing.Based on the theoretic analysis and logical argumentation, this paper analysed and studied systemetically the differences and the common grounds between Chinese traditional PE and western PE as well as the gradual changes about the ideas of Chinese traditional Pe.In the first part,it discussed the general conditions of Chinese PE and western PE before Opium War;In the second part,it analysed the reasons how the conflict of western PE thoughts came into being and the great changes and developments under Chinese traditional PE thought which western PE thoughts had great effect on;In the third part,it analysed the effect which western PE had on Chinese traditional PE and school PE.The researching of this paper indicates that the spread and development of western PE in China is the inevitable result with the development of society and times,and it is also the request of its own national culture.It is an important sign about Chinese national culture which is from lock to operning,to civilization,freedom and preosperity. In the conflict andamalgamation,Chinese traditional PE doesn't disappera nor reduce,In fact it still resists and develops.That the importing of the western PE became a landmark in the history of the development of Chinese PE. It not only enriched the Chinese traditional PE, but also accelerated the renovation. It became a key factor which effect on the development of the Chinese later-day PE. The aim of the paper is to obtain profound conclusion by lucubrating, so the job of this research has an important learned value.
