Since its introducing in the 1990s, inquiring studying has received more and more recognitions in the educational field of China. Many theoretical and practical researches are made afterwards. But from the present situation of biological inquiring studying in the senior high schools, it's easy to find that there are still many factors which seriously restricted the inquiring studying of senior Biology.In the new Curricular standard of Biology, the status of biological scientific history has enhanced a lot. But so far, biological scientific history is only used as a way to increase students' interest in classroom teaching. Apparently, this is far from enough.In this article, by analyzing the connection between inquiring studying and scientific history education, the author tried to put forward a new mode of senior Biology inquiring studying. In this mode, biological scientific history is adequately utilized throughout the processes of teaching.In this article, the author also shows the viability,investigating necessity and importance of combining inquiring studying with scientific history education. The general processes and strategies in carrying out this new learning mode are proposed.
