The Research On The Situation And Development Of The Physical And Health Education In Suzhou Vocational College

Suzhou, as one of the most developed cities in China, has been the first to achieve a well-off society; however, with the development of economy, there is little change in people's awareness and views of health. As the social workers mainly come from the local vocational colleges, thus the sports health curriculum will make a direct impact on public health and people's awareness of health. This thesis will focus on The Guide of Physical Education Curriculum in National Colleges and Universities as well as the relationship between the physical and health education in Vocational College and the construction of well-off society, analyze the current backward situation of the physical and health education in Suzhou Vocational College and study the status of Vocational College Physical Health curriculum and construction of a well-off city in Suzhou. The results show that: (a) lacking teachers, improper teaching performance, inadequate equipment and guidance of activities are the main problems existing in the physical and health education in Suzhou Vocational College, which affect not only the current physical and health education in Vocational College but also achieving the goals in the future.(2) the reform of the physical and health education in Suzhou Vocational College should first conform to The Guide of Physical Education Curriculum in National Colleges and Universities, Second, serve building a well-off society and healthy city. (3) the physical and health education in Suzhou Vocational College should start with the reform and development of the curriculum, focus on cultivating the students' sports consciousness, ability and habits, and aim at the students' all-round development.
