In the process of constructing the "employment-oriented" model of secondary vocational education, each secondary vocational school conforming to the needs of society, reforming of the training objectives, changing the traditional "academic education" to the real "vocational education", training the high-quality workers who has strong practicality and skills, which close to the requirement of professional positions.It is not only effectively meet the needs of enterprise employment, but also resolve the problems of employment about a large group of alternative intellectual advantages of young people, while improving the education, employment and other livelihood issues that the party and the government is now time to focus on and promoting to resolve the "three rural" issue, "industrialization" and "urbanization" problems greatly and so on.However, in the practical operation of the "employment-oriented" model of secondary vocational education, because of each secondary vocational education in the face of survival and development pressure, "employment-oriented" often become "employment targets," the practice of quick success caused result that need people to thought. Government how to exercise functions, in order to allow the secondary vocational school to play to "employment-oriented" model of the advantages of education, and each secondary vocational school how to give full play to their own characteristics to promote the healthy development of secondary vocational education, which become the problem that the Education administration management pay attention to.This article sets the Guangxi Material school as an example, recalling the development of China's secondary vocational education, analyzing its achievements , difficulties and the inherent cause to the difficulties, and investigating and researching mainly on the operation situation and results about "employment-oriented" model of secondary vocational education. On this basis, proposing more rational thinking about this education model, while bringing forward countermeasure that how to implement concretely from the perspective of government functions.
