As the spreading of China's new basic education curriculum reform, the academic community increasingly concerned about the "teachers" as a special occupation and crowd. The 21st century is a life highlighting era. Modern education advocates the "people-oriented" concept. The "people" does not only mean students but also teachers. So the basic education curriculum reform can not increase the burden and pressure on the teachers, and deteriorate the life quality of teachers to achieve the students' comprehensive and harmonious development. It should achieve the growth of the teachers, while promoting their professional development.From the perspective of life, selecting the M school in Chongqing city as a case study, using questionnaires and individual interviews, this study made research on the teachers in the middle school. By analyzing the characteristics of educational practice, to understand the particularity of the teachers' practice situation and the existence of teachers' occupational life, this paper put forwards countermeasures and suggestions about the life character of the teachers' professional development. This research follows such structure: theoretical studies-empirical studies-countermeasure studies .This research is organized as follows:Partâ… : First, we analyzed people's life character theoretically and pointed out that the teachers continue to pursue the realization of the value of life in their teaching career, and this provided a theoretical possibility for the research on the life character of the teachers' professional development. Second, we found that the teachers' professional development process is essentially the process of continuously improving the teachers' individual life character, and the realization of the value of life should be the eternal theme for the teachers' professional development.Partâ…¡:According to the procedures of Empirical Study, using the methods of survey and interviews, we analyzed the teachers' professional development situation of the M Middle School in Chongqing city, and found the following problems: the income of the teachers in the M Middle School is low; teachers work more than eight hours every day and face heavy occupational pressure; the autonomy of the teachers is not high; teachers pay less attention on the students' extra-curricular life; there is little humane care on teachers in the school management. Above the causes mentioned, the situations of the teaching profession life triggered a series of negative consequences, such as physical conditions of teachers are not optimistic and psychological problems highlighted, and so on.Partâ…¢: The reasons for the problems on the teachers' professional development in the M middle school are as follows: the burden of the teachers' occupation traditional ideas; the uniqueness of junior secondary education has increased pressure on teachers and the teacher's state of life is worrying; the loss of the teacher "life" concept; there is "distortion" phenomena in teachers' professional development; the M school do not pay enough attention to the "Teacher's life". Facing to the current situation, this study put forward five suggestions: improve the state of teachers' life quality; make a classroom course become the life that teacher and students spend together; enhance the effectiveness of the teachers' professional development; build the security mechanism of caring "the teachers' life" on the basis of the school management model, thereby to shape the 'Life type 'teacher.
