With the wide-spread application of information technology represented by computer technology and modern communications technology, human society has entered the digital information age. Such a rapidly developing era has brought about new requirements for education, which is not just for students to establish a solid foundation of knowledge, but to fully develop the qualities of students. The goal for high school information technology education is to improve the comprehensive information literacy of the whole nation, to meet the requirements of international competition in the information age, as well as to develop qualified personnel for China's economic construction and social development. The goal, however, is restricted to a serious lack of teaching periods for IT education. To break the restriction both in time and space, therefore to improve the information literacy of the students, developing hidden curriculum is a good way worth taking advantage of. Using the circulating study mode (i.e. plan to action to observation to reason), I have done some practice about the development of hidden curriculum according to local situation for two sessions. This paper focuses on the fourth part, which discusses the possible means of seeking hidden curriculum, and the effects they possibly bring about. For hidden curriculum concerned with in-class teaching, teachers should be emphasized, who offer more experiences and chances of IT and computers for students by the means of self-improvement and mutual teaching methods; for hidden curriculum from campus network, a convenient complete net system should be constructed and various activities should be organized so as to encourage students to get involved into the use of IT; and for hidden curriculum related to society, specialist lectures and IT contests should be provided for students' further improvement, especially the training for contests, which provides IT elites as an effect on the rest students. The paper analyses the experience and lessons gained in the two sessions of practice, summarizes the development of the three typical cases, and is able to sum up high school courses in hidden information technology requires the attention of the action points.Such practices can be applied to promote the development of IT education in high schools, and used as a reference for successive researches.
