"Student resources" in the context of this thesis refer to knowledge, techniques, experiences, modes and methods of activities, emotional attitudes and values etc. which are fully cared and developed and utilized by teachers as resources in the classroom teaching, and effectively promote students' learning and originate from students.Students are not only objects of teaching, but also important resources of courses and teaching. Each student is a unique, irreplaceable teaching resource. Such viewpoints have already been generally recognized. However, how resources from students can represent value of the resources if they are lack of concern from teachers and unable to be timely developed and utilized in the classes? This study indicates that student resources may only become a kind of teaching resource in fact and fulfill related claims raised by new courses under the condition that teachers fully concern them and then timely develop and utilize them, and effectively promote study of students to fully actualize teaching value of such resources.In classes of Chinese in junior middle school, on the one hand students' self consciousness begins to wake up and continually increase in classes, and they are happy to show themselves through active participation in remarks and discussions in class and this kind of performance is really exceptional as contrasted with high school students and dominance of student resources displayed in the teaching process maybe are everywhere; on the other hand, characteristics of Chinese course that combination of instrument and humanity and coordination of adaptability and sociality mean that Chinese course must fact to all students, and contain life experience of students, and characteristic of infinite joints among denotation of "Chinese" and life and experience is certain to cause continual production of various students resources in the process of classroom teaching. Development and utilization of student resources in the classroom teaching are not only favorable for cultivation of students' autonomic learning ability and innovation spirit, but also favorable for promoting quality of students' thoughts and their active development; development and utilization of student resources in the classroom teaching are not only the key of activating classes and optimizing classroom teaching, but also specific and vivid reflection of student-oriented thought.This thesis is the document of the author's 4 years research on development and utilization of student resources in classroom teaching of Chinese in junior middle school. Firstly this study analyzes current situations and problems of teachers' care, development, utilization of student resources in classroom teaching of Chinese through document retrieval and questionnaires investigation of teachers for junior students in some middle schools and reflection of teachers' behaviors in classroom teaching; then by analysis of students' learning need, this study starts in practice of classroom teaching, to questions, and try to relatively systematically explore theory basis and implementing strategy of development and utilization of students resources; on the other hand relative experience of practical teachers on developing and utilizing students resources is collected and summarized and further practicable strategy examples are analyzed and sorted out. The author has conducted a 4-year on-site "field study" in classes which the author teaches in dual positions as a teacher and a researcher as well. According to analysis of data of students study efficiency in class, scores of material tests and comparison with scores of parallel classes, the author found questions and adjusted strategies and practiced repeatedly attempting to further find effective and generally applicable strategies and methods to develop and utilize student resources. By sorting, arranging, inducting and abstracting of practice research, this thesis describes some relevant strategies of developing and utilizing student resources for the purpose to contribute improvement of current Chinese classes. Meanwhile, the author rethinks the research and raises questions existing in the research and follow-up assumptions.The study concludes that effective strategies, which may be adopted in developing and utilizing student resources, include:changing ideas, and forming resources consciousness;designing prior to classes, and optimizing conflation of resources;taking care of classes, and catching resources keenly;reflecting and rebuilding, and sorting out and refining resources.In according with frequently dynamic characteristic of classroom teaching, strategies of developing and utilizing adoptable student resources which appear immediately in classroom teaching are summarized as follows,direct catching, and focusing on highly effective resourcespromoting communications, and enriching student resourcesrolling and expanding, and increasing values of resourcesdisplaying and activating, and cultivating students' abilities Meanwhile the study is reflected, and questions existing in the study are pointed out, and relevant subsequent assumptions are raised, including:development and utilization of student resources, from the aspect of starting-points of teaching, need attention to and detailed understanding of student resourcesdevelopment and utilization of student resources, from the aspect of achievement of teaching goals need full refining and focusing on student resourcesdevelopment and utilization of student resources, from the aspect of teaching effect, need consideration of extending from the in-classroom to the out-of-classroomdevelopment and utilization of student resources, from the aspect of radiation of teaching effect, need consideration of expanding from Chinese to other subjectsdevelopment and utilization of student resources, from the aspect of scope of teaching practice, need consideration of expanding development and utilization of student resourcesFeedback of some important information from teachers questionnaires is mentioned and reflected further in the thesis, and that status of teachers as developer and users need to be noticed in subsequent study is reminded, and that teacher oriented (sub) consciousness of teachers shall be changed is pointed out; in the teaching, the consciousness of teachers' resources need to be strengthened; and in the education of people, life values of teachers remain to be reflected.Results of this research further confirm and strengthen the following viewpoints:Development and utilization of student resources in classroom teaching may not only activate Chinese teaching but also alter passive positions of students in teaching from a specific sense and stimulate learning initiatives of students and cultivate self-learning ability of students.Under the conditions of change of teachers' ideas and adjustment of techniques, a large amount of student resources can be timely processed and converted and created by teachers and students together in junior middle classes and therefore quality teaching of new courses will be effectively promoted. Practice and results of teachers' development and utilization of student resources may provide course designer and education experts and practical teachers with first hand materials from new course practice and fresh resources of course development.Teachers' participation in empirical research on development and utilization of student resources may promote teachers' conversion of their statuses to "action researchers" and contribute to school-based scientific research, and therefore assist professional development of teachers in new courses.
