For a long time in the field of teacher training exists a problem that theory and practice is disjoined, and the teacher nurtured is poor of practical ability and adaptability, which directly affects the quality of teachers and the overall level of china's education British "school-based"teacher training model calls for partnerships to be created between universities and schools, which greatly strengthens the role of schools in the teacher training and makes an effective combination between theory and practice.This study analysises the creation and development of British "school-based"teacher training model ,With the aim to investigate the laws and mechanisms to promote theory and practice, with a view to inspire our teacher education, and on this basis provides some references to our Teacher Education Reform.In structure,this essay includes five parts. The first part is preface, it illustrates the origin of this study and the displays the outcomes of this researching area both home and abroud. Part two analisizes the background,theoy basis and the precondition of the development of this modle. Part three analysizes the implementation of this modle systematically from its organizational structure,curriculum,the training of teachers and the quality assurance. Part four analysizes the characteristics,effects and the main problems of this modle. And the last part illustrate the deficits of our teacher training, on this basis provides some references.
