As is known to all,education is the foundation of national development and national rejuvenation,and teachers are the key to the success of education.They are the driving force of education reform and education innovation,and they are the core factors that restrict the quality of education in a country.The quality of teachers determines the quality of education.Improving the quality of teachers and cultivating high-quality teachers are the ultimate goals of teacher education reform.Since the1980 s,there have been many shortcomings in the traditional teacher education in the United States.To improve the quality of teacher education,to break the traditional model of teacher education,and to promote the professional development of American teachers,the United States began to establish partnerships between universities and primary and secondary schools.The establishment of partnerships will break the barriers between universities and primary and secondary schools,strengthen the communication between large and medium-sized schools,further improve the quality of education in primary and secondary schools,and achieve the mutual development of both teachers and students.Therefore,as the forerunner of teacher education,the United States has accumulated a lot of valuable experience in the cooperation relationship between universities and primary and secondary schools and it is worth learning and drawing lessons from our country.This study clarifies the generation and development history of partnerships between universities and primary and secondary schools under the background of teacher professionalization in the United States,introduces the content and the formation model,summarizes the protection strategies of the model,and finally obtains the characteristics of the model and its acquisition.The effectiveness of the model and the challenges it may face,and summarizing its cooperation experience,thus providing a reference for the cooperation between universities and primary and secondary schools in our country.This paper is divided into six parts:At first,It mainly includes the reasons for the topic selection,research significance,concept definition,literature review,research methods and innovation.Then,mainly describes the emergence and development of the partnership between universities and primary and secondary schools in the context of the professionalization of teachers in the United States.The next part mainly introducesthe content of the partnership between universities and primary and secondary schools in the context of American teacher professionalization.It mainly includes three aspects:the goal,the formation factor and the way to achieve it.The fourth part mainly analyzes the case of U.S.teacher's university and primary and middle school partnership under U.S.teacher professionalization,sums up four cooperation modes,and analyzes the influencing factors and protection strategies of U.S.model.The fifth part through the detailed introduction of the backgrounds,contents,and formation models of American universities and primary and secondary school partners in the first four chapters,we summarize the characteristics and achievements of the partnership model of universities and primary and middle schools under the background of American teacher professionalization and the possible outcomes challenge.In the end summarizes that under the background of professionalization of teachers in the United States,the model of partnership between universities and primary and secondary schools brings us experience in the cooperation between universities and primary and secondary schools in China,which provides a reference value for the establishment of cooperation between our universities and primary and secondary schools.
