Study On The Master Teacher System

The master teacher's role is comprehensive management of students in primary and junior middle schools currently in China. Recently their work is get into predicament that most of teachers aren't willed to do this work or cannot do well, and even this work is termed as the synonymy of "toil". This dissertation tries to research on the master teacher's predicament employing the method of historical comparison and literature analysis in the perspective of "system". Several problems are put forward and solved as follows. Firstly, what roles are to fulfill if the position of the master teacher is established, and they actually fulfilled; secondly, whether the master teacher's post exists certain problems in role orientation, organization affiliation and personnel deploy, and the form of these problems in reality; lastly, the system designing problems of the master teacher's work can be improved through which aspects.Based on the mentioned above, the foremost reason why the master teacher and post related originated is firstly expatiated in order to derive the primary role (or basic role) of the master teacher is to manage and instruct students. Because the school will possess additional role as education develops, the origin and progress of the national Master Teacher System is reviewed and various international Master Teacher Systems are studied and compared, and concluding from these systems' development the current master teacher's role is ascertained as management, moral education, and instruction. Then the current state of our Master Teacher System is analyzed, and the factors leading to current problems are researched on through role orientation and personnel deploy. In the end, several suggestions on improving the current Master Teacher System are put forward based on recollection of current state managing method and role orientation.
