With the fast development of art education in China, educators in this field are being faced with more and more challenges. They are increasingly giving priority to the improvment of teaching to meet the need of students. As the most important resource in college management, teachers are critical in determining where the school is heading. Compared with faculties in other fields, art teachers hold some specialities, which make the management in art schools tougher.The dissertation takes China Academy of Art Shanghai Design Institute as an example, trying to find out a better way in management of art-teacher from the terms of incensive mechanism. The purpose of the dissertation is to appeal the public's attention to art-teaching and art teachers, then enhance the construction of teachers rank and improve the quality of teaching.Through interview surveys to some teachers and executives it first summarized the specialities art-teacher hold in personality,educational background,social identity,way of thinking,teaching method and their ideas on incension. With the help of the interview record readers will see the significance of doing such a research on art-teacher management. Then it further enumerated some conflicts and disharmony in the field of faculty employment,curriculum arrangement,title evaluation and faculty examination.In the way of employment, the simplicity in faculty's educational background bring about the lack of innovation and creation. While the excessive stress on academic achievements in title evaluation may ignore the practical capacity that some practice style teachers hold, then weaken their enthusiasm in teaching. To some extent, which is the key reason for brain-drain. As for the examination to teachers, the standard of examination is not comprehensive enough to get an overall judgement to all the teaching staff. Besides lack of communication between school executives and teachers is the main reason to cause the misunderstanding and mistrust.Finally being based on the foregoing analysis, from the angle of development and management of human resources, it brought some suggestion to the human resources management in art school.
