Reflecting current China entrance exam by the social developing concept of taking people as a dominant factor, the diversification of the personality interests of the students are obliterated by the uniform entrance exam system, and the choose opportunity is despised in China colleges' enrollment process. Base on the understanding of the fact of students' individual difference and with a view to the students' development in a long round, this study try answering the following interrelated questions: Since the college entrance exam renewed, what changed had happened in China enrollment system and practice; Do these changes are propitious to providing chances to the students; How to reform the system to be helpful to the students' independent choosing and the free development of personality.Started by studying interrelated documents, combine the hot issues of reform and fix on the subjects, forms, enrollment ways and choosing chance as the contents of this research. In Chapter 1 depict and reveal the process and reasons of the transformation of China college entrance exam subjects setting, and compare the choosing chance of different subject setting. On this basis point out the subjects setting reform should provide more choosing chances for the students and give some reformational advice. In Chapter2 , focus on the time of the exam and the testing modes, and describe the development of China spring entrance exam and independent entrance exam and recruitment. Analyze their restraining factors whether they will truly be another choosing chance, and give some reforming suggestion according to the different admission rates of different colleges in different places. Then, summarize the relationship of prevailing testing modes and students choosing chance. Every mode has own advantages, only be used in combination with each other can afford the students suitable choosing chance. In Chapter 3 analyze the problems in the uniform enrollment and attempt to another two ways for enrollment which are parallel will enrollment of score priority and application mechanism. This new approach reduces the possibilities of "high score but not to be enrolled proportionately" by score priority, or make bidirectional choices by application mechanism. In the last Chapter, unite the reform process of enrollment practice of Shanghai from 1985, and offer a competitive program for Shanghai, which includes subjects setting, exam mode and enrollment mode.
