Basketball postgraduates education is an important source of basketball teachers in university carrying a training task of high-quality, high-level creative talents. Basketball postgraduates employment situation is not only the standerd of basketball talents training level and social reputation, but also relate the future fresh source condition of the university. In recent years, employment pressure for basketball postgraduates is getting bigger and bigger. In this case, how to keep the basketball postgraduates competitive in competition environment according to the social need has become an important research subject in new century.Using the method of document, experts consultation method , questionnaire method, interview method, mathematical statistics method,this article did some investigations and researchs on China's basketball postgraduates employmentment status of the, and come to the following conclusions:Employment result :The 2005 basketball postgraduates's outcomes is not optimistic, employment of graduates employment destination mainly concentrated in the colleges and universities, colleges and universities offered wages below the level of basketball direction Postgraduate wage expectationsEmployment intent :The 2005 basketball postgraduates is generally unsatisfied with the present employment situation.when they are hunting for a job ,they have a certain standerd ,but on the face of burden ,they have adjusted they expectation.Employment behaviours1,The 2005 basketball postgraduates's five most ideal works are "college", "Sports Bureau, and other state organs", "schools", "private schools"and "Enterprise";2,The 2005 Basketball postgraduates is independent when they are hunting for a job ,and they respect their own wish.3,The 2005 basketball postgraduates gain employment informations within multiplex channel, but "internet" has already became the most important way; basketball postgraduates' HR is mainly sended to"the university", "the elementary and middle schools", "the Voluntary school", "the enterprise", "the Sparetime Physical culture school",there is no close relationship between the quality of HR, job fairs they attene and the chance they get employed;basketball postgraduates maining spend their money on "HR production", "the traffic", "accmmodaition", "ask somebody to look for the relations".Employment Conflicts1,The most important reasons why it is difficult to find a job is "social demand", "the sexual discrimination", "when the choosing profession has the unhealthy tendency", "the deficiency of employment informations", moreover the family condition is also a restriction for basketball postgraduate to get employed;basketball postgraduates prefer to get employed first and then try their best to find they ideal job.it is a huge promotion compared with the traditon. 2,the employment market is not mature and standarded.3,University spent so many energy to promote basketball postgraduates' professional skills and they neglected the graduate student overall quality enhancement. Basketball postgraduates did not training themselves accoding to the social need.;graduates career guidance work in university waits for further improving.In view of the investigation result, he article put forward several proposals from the aspects of government, university and basketball postgraduates theirselves.
