There are some factors for femalepostgraduate's employment issue. The whole bad employment situation is one of the reasons.Personnel policy impacts in some degree. Social role-orientation for woman and employmentdiscrimination in the labor market is the main factor. The decline of postgraduates' quality andthe concept of career choice by female students also have effects.The issue of female postgraduates relates to the development of higher education andinfluences social progress and national development. To solve this issue, it needs efforts fromgovernment, society, university, and individual. The government can enact related law to protectthe right of female employment. The university should improve the quality of postgraduates andgive special career choice guidance to female postgraduates, help them set up a proper conceptof career choice.
