Equality is one of the goals that mankind is seeking for and is an important part of harmonious social. Education equity as the reflection of social equity in education field, not only the basic value and basic goal, but also the foundation stone in constructing harmonious society. Education equity's essential is people's development in an all-round way, people oriented is an important value in the way of education equity. With the development of China education, the question between the developing of our country's education need and the short of our country's education restore. People have pay more attention to the problem of education equity. How to comprehend the equity in education on the point of constructing harmonious society, what is the actual condition of educational equity at present, what solutions and countermeasures can we adopt to promote educational equity? The above are the main contents in this thesis.The paper is mainly composed by three parts. The first part carries on the theoretical analysis to the education equity and proves the education equity meaning, essential, the characteristic. The second part studies the educational unfairness and the reason in our present country. The third part points out that the research on educational equality has fairly vital significance to our country and proposes measures in order to promote education equity.
