The object of this paper is that Uighur floating population in Lanzhou. We used of research methods with sociology, ethnic and other disciplines. We conducts the investigation and study to Uighur floating population's history and present situation by learning from previous research results.This paper has five chapters .chapter one, introduction of selected topic basis, purpose and significance of study, than introduction of domestic and foreign academic circle's research results. Chapter 2, summing up the historical document, and reorganization that people of the old generation's interview material, than descript the Uighur floating population'move history. Chapter 3, summary the present situation of Ughur floating population with questionnaire and visits. Chapter 4, analysis the Uyghur floating population's situation of them adapts the Lanzhou civic culture. Chapter 5 summing up the movement of the Uyghur population in Lanzhou City for the arrival of urban construction and development of the contribution. And the government's functional departments to guide the flow of the Uighur population to urban society to solve their cultural adaptation to the urban poor issues put forward its own proposalsIn short, the government's functional departments to deal with the Uighur population flows have a positive attitude, the best use of the situation actively guide them to adapt to the society, give full play to their socio-economic development, the Mainland and the role of minority cultural exchanges. Uighur movement of the population should be brought into full play the role of subjective, efforts to coordinate their own national traditional culture and urban culture to adapt to his hometown of development and to contribute to the prosperity of cities.
