| The thesis of school-based curriculum development(SBCD) is originated from the main western developed countries in 1960s and 1970s.Because of the malpractice of center-based curriculum development(CBCD),SBCD is demanded to actualize democracy in curriculum decision.Ever since the Third China's Nation Education Conference in June of 1996,three levels of curriculum development have been carried out in China:nation-based curriculum,local-based curriculum and school-based curriculum,which were stipulated later in the "Congressional Decisions on Basic Curriculum Reform and Development" and the "Outlines of Curriculum for Primary and Secondary Education Reform(manuscript)" in June 2001. It forms the political and legal base for the local and school-based curriculum and clarifies the rights and responsibilities between them.The school-based curriculum development of chemistry is one of the key components of the school-based curriculum.This thesis analyzes the conception of SBCD,the historical track of SBCD,the way,the purpose and the value of SBCD as well as its theoretical foundation.For a long time,the designing of the curriculum of chemistry in junior high school has been dominated by the nation.So there are a few papers about SBCD based on chemistry in junior high school.Someone talked focused on the knowledge of chemistry;others talked about changing the time when students should start studying chemistry.However,only few people pay attention to SBCD based on chemistry in the areas of national minority.This research is based on the curriculum,the development of SBCD,applying the methods such as the educational docUments and statistics.After that it points out some problems existing in junior high school of SBCD based on chemistry subject. The writer consults documents of SBCD,and then she makes questionnaires answered by students and chemistry teachers.The questionnaires are selected at random from eighteen Korean junior high schools.Among them,45 copies of teachers' and 1100 copies of students' were handed out,and 43 copies of teachers and 1020 copies of students were useful.The results were analyzed by statistics, conclusions are drawn as follows:First,the SBCD based on chemistry can be described as a continuous and dynamic changing process which can be modified by school according to the need of students on the basis of routine chemistry curriculum.Second,most of schools have made great efforts on SBCD,but there are only two schools have SBCD based on chemistry subject in Korean junior high school in Yanbian.Third,there are some problems in SBCD based on chemistry subject of Korean junior high school in Yanbian.The problems are mainly caused by the government, the schoolmasters and chemistry teachers' insufficient expertise,the lack of support from paterfamilias and students.According to the main effect factors of SBCD based on chemistry subject of Korean junior high school in Yanbian,suggestions are given as follows:First,the government should carry out the third-class curriculum management policy better and changes traditional appraise systems.Second,SBCD based on chemistry subject must contain characteristics about Korean Nationality in Korean junior high school in Yanbian.Third,the government should provide trainings for schoolmasters,which will enhance their ability to lead the development of the curriculum.Fourth,school should use effective ways to inspirit chemistry teachers to involve in SBCD based on chemistry subject.Fifth,school should make a forum for parents and students by which they are able to get a deep understanding of the SBCD. |
