Fostering students' creativity is one of the key points of quality education, and training talents with creative spirit is the requirement by modern times. In high school, the characteristics of physics find themselves in a better position to develop students' creativity. Nowadays, as physics teachers, we can not shun seeking and developing a new approach to training students' creativity and improving physics teaching. However, the aim can not be reached in one move, but step by sty and in a long run. The definitions of students' creativity and scientists' innovation are different—for scientists, innovation centers on solving the unsettled questions of the whole human society and bringing about great changes contributing to human progress, while for students, creativity is connected with their growth, and its key points are to train their ability of scientific thinking and emphasize practice.Combining the writer's teaching practice with the characteristics of physics, the thesis illustrates how to foster students' creativity during high school physics teaching. The whole thesis is divided into four chapters: the first chapter illustrates the core of creative thinking, including its definition, major characteristics and process; The second chapter explains the two major forms of creative thinking—imaginal thinking and abstract thinking, and other forms brief, such as divergent thinking, concentration thinking, reversal thinking, division-summary thinking and associative thinking; The third chapter, from the angles of cognitive rules, experimental teaching, research-centered activities, teaching method enhancement illustrates how to apply creative thinking to physics teaching; The fourth chapter, connecting psychology, history of physics, methods of learning physics, organizing extra-curricular activities, illustrates how to inspire and foster students' creative thinking in physics teaching.
