Research On Education Problem Of Countryside Staying Children (CSC)

China is a large agriculture country where most of the population is peasantry. With speeding up of the modernization progress, more and more labors move to cities. Their children have to stay studying in countryside for many kinds of limitations. As a result, a special colony, Countryside Staying Children (CSC) appeared in China. It is estimated that there are more than 20 million CSC in China. Currently, CSC issue is a social problem appearing in the process of changes of population urbanizes and the labor force. As the time going, this group will continue expanding comparatively. These children are in the crucial age in their education. Because of the deletion of home education, their safety, study, psychology and daily life all face many problems. The solution of CSC's education problem, relates a generation or several generations of people's growth and development, and migrant worker's basic interest, affects the construction of the socialism new countryside and harmonious society. But, from the current situation and our investigation, the problem hasn't caused substantive attention of the society and has many problems which urgently wait to be solved so far. Therefore, focuses on and solve CSC issue are of great theoretical and practical significance.There are six parts in the paper. The first part deals with the time background of CSC .The second part studies the goal, the significance and the present situation of CSC and summarizes the cause that brought such children. The third part expounded that the article has used the literature law, the intervien law as well as the questionnaire method research technique. The fourth part discusses the living condition of CSC from life, study and psychology three aspects. The fifth part focuses on the reasons of CSC issue from social system, family, school, and community four aspects. The sixth part tries to find how to cope with the issue from both long-term and short time.The article believes that it is very important to speed up the management of household register reform, eliminate the differences between towns and countryside gradually in order to solve the problem of CSC. Only by paying great attention to the study of social policy, can we understand the problems of the remaining behind to take care of CSC. The article here also put forward some proposal to solve these problems.
