Theoretic Scanning Of Classics Reading In Universities Humanistic Education

Classics has various meanings, as a result, there are different understandings. So the paper proposes the precondition of classics reading is the basic connotation of classics. Although classics reading has different history phases, its common theme is the authority of classics on the base of profundity and universal force of thinking in classics content , as which ,decides matter of classics reading rest with readers talking with the giant through reading classics .Nowadays, classics reading, as one of significant approaches of practicing humanistic education gets recognition, so it is reasonable that the paper discusses the importance of classics reading to humanistic education. There are two representations about the importance of classics reading to humanistic education: classics reading restrains humanistic spirit and gives humanistic teaching one of the power supports .By the research, we found that there are some mess in classics reading . The author thinks the reasons of difficulty in classics reading include as follows: the short of humanistic environment, the difficult understanding of classics content, the improper compiling classics teaching material and the old classics teaching methods. the paper put forward some advice: first, we should choose classics text rationally. secondly, we should compile classics teaching material to guide students to talk with the giant in spirit. thirdly, we should set up effective classics reading teaching methods and some systems of achievement estimation. In order to ensure classics reading teaching, the school should increase devotion of time and money, compile classics teaching material, increase teachers and innovate teaching systems. In addition, the society should construct a well humanistic environment.
