Research Of Financial Management Information System Planning In A University

With the booming of Internet in China, information techniques quickly develop, which brings prosperity of many application. As one of these applications, financial management of colleges can hardly restricted to computerized accounting. With the need of more effective supervision and management of financial departments in college at all levels, secondary school reform and expansion of university education, it is urgent to improve the information system of finance sector in college.In this paper, current financial management information system and the status of financial management are analyzed according to the need of a digital campus. The characteristics of digital financial information system is discussed and corresponding function is summarized and the design elements of the colleges financial management information is explored in the new situation.According to the current situation of financial system and existing problems, this paper designs financial MIS based on information planning, Business Process Re-engineering theory and methods. It takes business process analysis and system requirements analysis as the main line, the objectives, principles and general idea of financial information are proposed. Also some specific safeguards were put forward to ensure the implementation of college information planning.
