Problems And Countermeasures Upon The Construction Of Teaching-staff Team In Independent Colleges Of Chong Qing

In recent years, the advanced education develops by leaps and bounds and transfers from elite education to mass education. Independent colleges, as a new mode of operating the advanced-education school in our country, is an important part in the advanced education. Although Chong Qing is in the west and underdeveloped, and its education relatively lags behind, the establishment of independent colleges and the promotion of reforming and innovating the advanced education system synchronize with other areas in China.Therefore, the independent colleges in Chong Qing develop quickly. In particular, a series of relating policies and measures set up by our national government and C.Q. government bring about unprecedented opportunities and great dynamics. The independent colleges—this new kind of school operation, not only promote the process of advanced education in mass, but also push forward the reform and innovation of the system. There are still no mature experience and shaped mode to borrow and learn from.The key point for the fast-developing independent colleges in Chong Qing to achieve the healthy and sustainable development is to build up a relatively stable teaching-staff team of excellent qualities and reasonable structure. Accordingly, the construction of teaching-staff team must be attached great importance to. The priority must be given to it in developing the education. A strong teaching-staff team is the key factor to guarantee the teaching quality and good reputation. If the independent colleges aims to develop healthily and sustainably, they must boldly explore the new mode of the advanced education in mass instead of conventional matrix-education mode; and innovate the mode of fostering the talented people, explore the mode of fostering high-leveled applied people and reform the teaching plan, teaching content and teaching methods according to the orientation of independent colleges. Hence, different from the traditional requirements to teaching-staff, corresponding new ones must be put forward. However, many problems in our independent colleges still exist, for instance, the unreasonable structure of teaching-staff, unstable teaching-staff, the common lack of recognition of and belongingness to schools among teachers.Based upon the situation and existing problems of the construction of the teaching-staff team in independent colleges in Chong Qing, the thesis analyses the reasons and the sources in the course of constructing the teaching-staff team; and explore the reasons respectively in the aspect of society, teachers and the teaching-staff construction and the inherent relations among the three, and the impact on the independent colleges in Chong Qing and the advanced education. Through the analyses of the existed problems in the construction of teaching-staff team in the independent colleges, feasible countermeasures and suggestions are herein brought forward.
