Educational Reflection On Present-day Undergraduates' Utility Pursuit

The development of socialist market-economy system causes the present undergraduates a series of changes both in their idea and behavior. Some undergraduates have the inclination of seeking quick success and instant benefits, which is embodied in their studying, vocational selection, interpersonal interaction, and political aspiration, etc.To do the research into undergraduates' utility pursuit, we must make clear the rationality and irrationality of their utility pursuit and then set a justification.Through the investigation of today's undergraduates' utility pursuit we can find various reasons, including the reasons from the society, their education at school and at home,such as unhealthy tendency, foresight-lacking and conformity to the public in their school education and the parents' education-strategy of beeing eager for quick success and instant benefits all of which had great influence the forming of utilitarian awareness from different sides.Then the thesis explicates educational reflection on today's undergraduates' utility pursuits and find that students' seeking quick success and instant benefits is closely relateded to educational utilitarianism, fault teaching content and process.And the author wants to point that students' seeking quick success and instant benefits will be disadvantageous to their comprehensive and the sustainable development, therefore it's necessary to help the present-day undergraduates to pursue the utility rationally. We may deep our work in the following aspects: be clear about teaching objective, lay down adequate teaching content and weaken the nature of educational utility.This thesis can be divided into six parts:1,The first part presents the background and the significance of this thesis, relative study of this field from both home and abroad, and the method of this thesis.2,The second part try to make clear the rationality of undergraduates' utility pursuit.3,The third part studies present situations of the undergraduates' utility pursuit.4,The forth part analyses the reasons to influence the forming of utilitarian awareness of present-day undergraduates'.5,The fifth part explicates educational reflection on today's undergraduates' utility pursuits.6,The sixth part discusses the strategies of helping the undergraduates to pursue utility rationally.
