Since China carried out the English education reform of senior school in 2000, more and more educators have paid more attention to the English teaching and learning. A number of the educators, teachers all point out that the motivation of the students is the most important element in SLA. So it is universally accepted that the teacher should pay more attention to the motivation of the students and then try to cultivate it.It is well known, there are plenty of elements influencing the motivation of the students, and there are a lot of researches related to how to cultivate and sustain the motivation of the students in EFL learning. The present research mainly discusses the effect of the teachers'personality fascination on developing the motivation of the students in senior high school in EFL learning.The first chapter is introduction. It briefly introduces the present situation EFL learning in senior school in China, and the existing problem. The thesis aims at illustrating that the teachers'personality fascination has effect on the motivation of the students in EFL learning, and at the same time comes up with the significance of the research.The second chapter is literature review. This chapter presents the theoretical basis of the teachers'personality fascination, humanism and the motivation of the senior high school students in EFL learning. This literature review is helpful to understand the issues in the present context of the study.The third chapter introduces the experiments. The questionnaires on the students'motivation and the teachers'personality fascination, and the learning achievements were presented too.In the forth chapter, by analyzing the data got from the questionnaires and the exam, the result will be presented. The teachers'personality fascination can influence the motivation of the senior high school students in EFL learning.The last chapter is conclusion and recommendations. It emphasizes the conclusion of the research, the limitation of the research and gives some advice for the future research in this field.
