For the middle school students,learning motivation is one of the core factors.Learning motivation is the internal motivation to promote students' learning and the key factors to restrict students' behavior and affect the quality of learning.However,the development of the learning motivation is affected by many factors.Meanwhile,perfectionism is a common kind of personality and a way of thinking among the middle school students,especially the gifted students.Especially in the reality which the exam-oriented education coexist with quality education,for the middle school students who are immature both in mental and physiological,what only to do is to use a higher standard to request himself and face his family and society.It is the high standard requirement that is one of the characteristics of a perfectionist.So analyzing the effect and the countermeasures of perfectionism in learning motivation will help to guide the counseling teachers and screen out the students who have decreasing learning motivation and thus according the targeted tutoring to deduce adverse influence on the academic achievement and mental health which caused by learning motivation.The purpose of the research is investigating the perfectionism and the current situation of learning motivation of 701 middle school students in Wen Chang middle school.To use the questionnaire survey method such as The frost multidimensional perfectionism scale of personality tendency(revision)and The diagnostic test of middle school students learning motivation.The research results show that the six dimensions of perfectionism personality inventory:personal standard(PS),suspicious behavior(DA),focus on error(CM),parents expect(PE),parents(PC)and achievement orientation(AO)respectively can predict achievement motivation scale of all four dimensions,including suspicious behavior,parents criticize,achievement orientation of achievement motivation scale of all four dimensions can have a significant impact,as follows:27%,17%,0.01%,15%,22.4%,61%.The six dimensions of personality of perfectionism tendency and the pursuit of achievement motivation to the success of the correlation coefficient are:0.000,0.346,0.006,0.000,0.868,0.000;To Achievement motivation to avoid failure are:0.249?0.000?0.000.0.000?0.000?0.060:To test anxiety are:0.000?0.002?0.546?0.061?0.061?0.010?0.003;To self accountability are 0.085?0.281?0.035?0.222?0.032?0.005.Respectively,the regression equation of the results of variance analysis:F = 1443.28,P<1443.28),F = 1589.48(P<0.01),F-1095.48(P>0.05),F = 0.05,P<0.01).Suspicious behavior,pay close attention to errors and parents criticize motivation to the success of learning motivation of pursuing success have a negative impact.Parents want to ease test anxiety dimensions have a positive role in learning motivation,at the same time and motivation to the success of learning motivation to avoid failure there is a positive correlation between.Personal standards and achievements of learning motivation four dimensions have a positive role.The measures in teaching process should be done:positive encouragement and affirmation,avoiding too high expectations.The influence of the foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses,to play a positive perfectionism;Scientific and effective use of parents expectations,exerting positive influence;Psychological counselling,alleviate the pressure of the female junior middle school students psychological;Grasping the different grade students' learning characteristics,making corresponding plan.
