In recent years, the accelerative expansion of domestic higher education institutes has given rise to the number of art students in universities as well as a wide concern in both education institutes and all other levels of the society as to how we shall improve our moral education work and management system applied towards these art undergraduates. The moral education and management work of students in universities is an important part of higher education, and directly correlates to the objects: what kind of talents we should cultivate and what kind of quality level these students should satisfy. As a unique group of students, art undergraduates have their own distinctive characteristics. In order to cultivate quality art talents, it is critical to contribute our best efforts to the moral education and management work of art students in universities. With the development of technology and advance of social civilization, the view of value, life style and the way of thinking of art students in domestic universities have seen significant changes, which, in turn, present a serious challenge to our moral education and management work. At present, few research work in academic circles have been made to the new-era moral education and management work of art students in universities, and much less the management mode and systematic research.With above background understood, this paper investigates into the management mode of the new-era moral education and management work of art students in domestic universities. Based on the investigation and analysis of new era art undergraduates unique features and current management system conditions, this paper discusses, in consideration of actual situation and through a comprehensive respective, how we can take advantage of art features and practice an education methodology such as "self experienced" and "penetrated" to highlight the talents training characteristics of art students and construct a comprehensive talents training concept, which may be a valuable reference to the theory and practice of moral education and management work of art students in domestic universities. The contents discussed in this paper mainly include three aspects:Chapter 1 - Analysis of the moral characteristics of new era art undergraduates, and forming causes of these characteristics. By investigating into the questionnaire of art students, we can understand the thinking and acting features of art students, and be able to analyze the forming causes of these features systematically. Through questionnaire investigation, we can understand art students some characteristics. On one hand professional complex is strong, the foundation on humane quality is weak, students are relatively perceptual and apt to be excited and irritable, on the other hand they often like pursuing the individualization and fashion in behavior. Art talents and the special requirement of specialized education on the moral characteristics of art students have a tremendous influence inherently, at the same time the environment, economy and western cultural factor on them have a tremendous influence externally.Chapter 2 - Discussion of current situation and challenge of moral education and management work of art students. Based on the investigation of questionnaire, this paper describes current morality levels of new era art undergraduates and general education management system situation, and also analyzes the challenges presented to the art departments of universities. The political standpoint of art students are not so strengthen, their concept is extremely easy to be influenced by social bad Atmosphere, and they lack the spirit of devotion, the sense of organization and discipline are relatively bad. But art students' competition consciousness and practice ability are strong. Orientation pluralism of value, the university expands employing, development of the enrollment policy, network information technology etc. bring a great deal of challenges on moral education and management of art student in universities.Chapter 3 - Construction of new era moral education and management mode of art students in universities. This paper discusses, through a comprehensive respective and by means of an education methodology such as "self experienced", "penetrated" and "opened management", how we can take advantage of art features to highlight the talents training characteristics of art students. How we can utilize various effective activity carriers to attract students' attention, in order to educate students imperceptibly. Through combining art features and characteristic closely construct a comprehensive talents training concept.
