With the advance of the course reforms on elementary education,teachers' professionalism is gradually recognized as a very important problem for the development of education or even the whole society. Teaching reflection is an important way of teachers' professionalism because teachers' growth depends on their daily study or research and in these kinds of practice the core characteristic is teaching reflection. Therefore, to some extent, the research on primary and secondary teachers' teaching reflection is necessary in both theory and practice .Reflection needs carrier, needs to find factors which affect reflection and also needs practicable strategy support. This thesis takes two schools (School T which has high teaching standards and School S whose teaching standards are not so good) as an example,and contrasts these two schools' teaching reflection through some analysis, striving at finding some effective ways to improve their teaching reflection. It is found out that there exist some problems in School S' teaching reflection form,method and content, etc.The research methods include documents, questionnaires, interviews and comparison. It , on the basis of research, analyzes the causes of School S' teaching reflection problems, which are mainly concerned with school's administration and teachers themselves. Meanwhile, it provides some advice on how to improve their teaching reflection via some related theoretical research. It is mainly about (1) innovating teaching and research modes and enriching teaching reflection forms, (2) enlarging teaching reflection method and content and improving teachers' reflection abilities, (3) being clear about the process of teaching reflection and building up teachers' reflection consciousness, (4) improving the system of reflection activities and updating reflection effect, (5) overcoming the factors which affect reflection and improving teaching reflection.Some research remains to be perfected due to my limited experience and ability, such as the rationality of questionnaire design, the limitation of material selection , etc. All these aspects will be further studied in my daily research and teaching life.
