On the background of globalization, FDI into China has been increased sharply in scale and industrial structure. China, as one of the largest FDI receiver in the developing countries, has the typical identification of dual economic structure and periodical, large scale population migration. Therefore FDI will definitely influence its labor force geographical distribution. Meanwhile FDI will, by the fore and behind relation effect, influence China's infrastructure, public service, raw material, middle production supply, affecting its industrial structure, employment structure, economic structure, economic development mode and population migration. After completing the theoretical research of the mechanism of FDI's influence on labor force transfer. This thesis pays more attention to FDI's employment effect by large sum of data collection, case study, documentary research as well as questionnaire. Finally it focuses on Yangtze delta to shed light on FDI's employment creation mechanism and its industrial path. This thesis, by large sum of empirical analysis as well as case study, comes to conclusion that FDI has affected China's labor transfer but failed to, at least till now, change its dual economic structure. FDI's effect upon labor transfer is embodied in two ways: industrial dimension (processing manufacturing industry) as well as territorial dimension (east part of China). Also this thesis points out that labor transfer has not pushed the process of transformation of dual economic structure for it failed to promote our traditional production mode as well as it failed to promote the urbanization in labor force pulling. The Commute Mode of labor transfer as well as labor's economic and psychological reason are the basement for non-urbanization.
