In this paper, takes a example of teaching "Van Gogh impression", from which explore initially the teaching of art appreciation class.This paper is divided into three chapters. In the first chapter, the author from the requirements of art appreciation class, analysis the status of art appreciation class in different regions and then emphasizes the key to education of art is teacher.
