| With the three grand discussions on "Education industrialization", China's accession to WTO, implementation of quality-oriented education and the new round of curriculum reformation, the idea of education services has been widely accepted and has being guiding people's education practice. As educators, teachers should be guided by the idea. First of all, they must cultivate their service-awareness. In China, compulsory education in rural areas takes an important part in the whole education system. As a result, the service-awareness of teachers in rural areas should be paid attention. However, due to the limited conditions in rural areas and reasons for teachers themselves, rural teachers have not founded service-awareness. This text discusses the concept of "Education" and "service-awareness", points out problems on service-awareness of rural teachers and their reasons and gives some advices on how to cultivate rural teachers' service-awareness from three aspects of society, school and teachers in the end. This study can help to improve the theory of education services and service-awareness, cultivate the rural teachers' service-awareness and promote students' qualities and the development of education. |
