Learning motivation is intrinsic drive in stimulating and maintaining learning action. It plays an important part in student's learning enthusiasm and self-consciousness. It has a powerful influence on the whole process and outcome of Chemistry learning. The research background and significance of this paper is: In recent years the government has paid much attention to vocational education and vigorously promoted vocational education,But students'learning motivation actually lacks, These motive questions have affected chemistry teaching and studying effect. so the importance and urgency of stimulating learning motivation is pointed out .The first part of this paper discusses the theories related to learning motivation. These theories have the enlightenment to chemistry teaching . The second part starts with the surveys on the types and influencing factors of the vocational students'motivation, which aim to provide reliable basis for studying the teaching strategies of stimulating learning motivation. The third part offers general principles and strategies to motivate Chemistry learners based on investigation and modern theories of motive, integrated the practice of teaching, directed by the reform of new curricula. These strategies include the following:â‘ Stimulating learners'Chemistry learning interestâ‘¡Increasing individualistic self-efficacy,â‘¢Promoting the harmonious relation between teachers and students. The fourth part is teaching experiment, the effect that motivation stimulation strategies have been applied in chemistry teaching is analyzed.
