In this paper, investigation method, action research method, case method and literature method were used to put forward a set of operational model for carrying out moral education in senior high schools. The research was done on the basis of students'self-education and self-management in No22 high school, Shijiazhuang city. At the same time, the author also analysed and studied the moral education at home and abroad. The research was about self-management for senior high schools. The purpose of the research was to improve the effectiveness of moral education in schools, to improve the students'ability of choice, judgement and self-management and to explore a new way for the moral education in school by expanding the space of moral education pattern.The study was divided into five parts. In part one, depending on the deep thought about the problems existing in the present moral education, the author expounded the purpose and meaning of studying the self-management of the senior high school students and something in domestic and international relevant fields, and defined the relevant concepts of self-management pattern of senior high school students. In part two, the study provided theoretical basis for carrying out self-management relying on the theory about Marxist all-sided development ,theory about humanism, theory about sustainable development, and the characteristics of senior high school students. In part three, it dealt with the elements of self-management. In part four, combining the fact of the author'school, the study put forward the strategy about how to carry out self-management in senior high school. First, it summarized the principles of carrying out self-management, namely activity principle , humanistic principle, inspiring principle . Then it put forward how to carry out self-management from four aspects, including school'culture, class management, the growth of Students Union and series of special activities. In part five, the study put forward several considerations about self-management according to the practice of several years in the school.
