Analysis Of Present Situation And Countermeasures On The Sport Fields And Equipments In WeiFang Middle School

Sports education is an important component of school education. As the basis for national sports and the strategic focus on developing our sports, it is of great significance to improve the quality of our talents and nation, promote social material civilization and spiritual civilization, and guarantee our national development. There are many factors influencing school sports, among which the equipment of field facilities is a key one. It is indispensable to guarantee the execution of sports education and extracurricular activities. With the methods of literature, surveys and mathematical statistics, aiming at middle school teachers, students and leaders of Weifang City at all levels, this thesis conducts an investigation to the current state of middle school field facilities in Weifang City in a comprehensive way in hope that it can provide scientific foundation for local educational authorities to improve sports education and offer necessary sports facilities. At the same time, it can provide theoretical basis for local authorities in charge to know the current state of school field faculties and for educational and research authorities in charge to work out sports education syllabus and direct sports work. It turns out to be such a case as follows:The field size per student in Weifang middle schools is above the national standard, but develop in an imbalanced way with the village junior middle schools higher. The number of the sports fields in Wei Fang middle schools is above first-class equipment standard. Compared with national standard, concerning the owning of fields in basketball, volleyball and table tennis, basketball has obvious advantage over the other two. The senior middle schools in urban areas own the larger number in each aspect.The middle schools in Weifang City are required to be equipped with sports facilities according to national first-class requisite standard. All the facilities meet the national standard, but schools at different levels share commonness as well as differences.The quality of the sports fields in Weifang middle schools varies. On the whole the urban fields are better than rural ones with remarkable gap.There are serious differences between urban and rural areas in the way of sports equipment procurement in Weifang middle schools. Most of field facilities in middle schools fail to fully implement the latest national standard for"primary and secondary school sports facilities and fields". The middle schools in Weifang are equipped with facility management staff, but in terms of facility management regulations there are some deficiencies. There lacks a complete facility management system.The utilization rate of some field facilities in Weifang middle schools is not high, and the students have different satisfaction levels with different field facilities.It is proposed that the government increase the funding for sports, raise funds through various channels, improve urban and rural secondary sports fields and the current state of sports facilities. The middle schools at all levels should implement the new national standard in building sports fields and updating sports facilities.
