A Study Of Relationship On Secondary School Teachers' Occupational Commitment And Responsibility

The responsibility is a research hotspot in the organizing field and education field. The teachers' responsibility may forecast job behavement, on-duty ratio, memory, energy and workload. And it can influence the students' motivation, grade and study attitude.The most responsibility is researched overseas. Recently our scholars begain to research it. But they mostly research children, students and social supervisors. The teachers' research is very small, especially the secondary teachers. Therefore, the responsibility reseach of the secondary teachers has many benefits to supply domestic responsibility research.The responsibility is an important personality particularity. As a teacher, its responsibility consists of three dimensions: the teaching responsibility; the social responsibility and the family responsibility.Research aims: (1) Establishing a questionnaire of local secondary school teachers' responsibility; (2) Explore the relationship of the secondary school teachers' occupational commitment and responsibility on the basis of re searching the condition of secondary school teachers' occupational commitment and responsibility.Research methods: work out "questionnaire on secondary school teacher responsibility" based on the interview and literature analysis; investigationg the condition of secondary school teacher occupational commitment and responsibility; on statistically technique, using exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis to confirm the questionnaires; using correlation analysis and regression analysis to establish relation of the secondary school teacher occupationa commitment and responsibility.Research results: (1) the strueture model of the responsibility of the secondary school teachers consists of three dimensions: the teaching responsibility; the social responsibility and the family responsibility.(2) "the questionnaire on the secondary school teachers responsibility " have high reliability and good validity, it is an ideal metrical tool to measure the responsibility of the local secondary school teachers;(3) the secondary school teachers' demography variables have effect to occupational commitment and responsibility to a certain extent.(4) the affective commitment and normative commitment of the occupational commitment is significantly related to the teaching responsibility, social responsibility and family responsibility of the responsibility; the continuance commitment of the occupational commitment is significantly related to the social responsibility of the responsibility.(5) the affective commitment of the occupational commitment can preferably forecast the teaching responsibility; the normative commitment of the occupational commitment can preferably forecast the social responsibility and the family commitment.
