Nowadays, the society is a knowledge–based and economic society, and it is also a time when we comprehensively compete and cooperate mutually at the same time. The education, facing this kind of complex changes, has been unable to limit in the school, and must seek social support and coordination in various aspects. the power from social participation's education and home education's participation has the enormous influence on the elementary and middle schools. We may say whether the guardian does coordinate the school effectively is deciding the effect of the school education directly. Therefore, teachers should be involved in home-school cooperation. Realizing the comprehensive and harmonious development of the students and strengthening home-school cooperation is the tendency of society's development.We can say that home-school cooperation has become a worldwide subject. The experts and the scholars from European countries, America and Japan have explored in different ways and proved the importance of home-school cooperation or parents'participation in school education. In reality, in many countries they appeal to formulation of laws related to home-school cooperation by setting up and completing organizations that are engaged in home-school cooperation. Experts in some foreign countries have made surveys with the intention of finding out the problems existing in cooperation Based on researches they have done ,they came up with some suggestions related to the cooperation. Our country also gradually do research on home-school cooperation. however, compared with foreign countries, there are still obvious lacks of theory researches and the researches on actual-exampled investigations. Related study is nearly home-school cooperation blank. As for the level of research, research in China doesn't cover as many fields as foreign countries, especially about study on the situation of China's home-school cooperation. Although there are a few surveys, attentions are focused on some concrete question. We don't conduct research from three latitudes(school, family and student) , besides, these survey samples are so limited that they can not reflect the current status and problems of home-school cooperation. In view of this, based on empirical research,I regard the middle schools in the city of Danyang as the object for research to study the current status of home-school cooperation among Danyang Middle schools, analyzing the problems and lack of cooperation and exploring the causes through large-scale survey. I'll try to put forward a new cooperation strategy for the future to promote the home-school cooperation in Danyang.
