Research Of Innovative Education Methods For The Ideological And Political Education Dlrected To University Students

The ideological and political education directed to university students is an important guarantee of the task intended to foster high-quality constructors and successors of socialism and to adhere to the socialist education principles. In today's world, where economic globalization, cultural diversity and information network are prevailing and China's socialist market economy is developing and its reform and opening-up are accelerating, university students' ideology is becoming more and more independent, selecting, changeable and diversified. Therefore traditional ideological and political education methods can not meet the demands of the developing age and the changing situations at all. To this point, we should, based on the reality, reflect seriously on various factors that affect and restrict the healthy development of university students' ideology, explore actively new methods for ideological and political education directed to university students in the new period, and enhance and improve continuously the according education work. This thesis is to discuss in five respects the research of innovative education methods for the ideological and political education directed to university students:The first section (the preface) offers a brief review of current researches of the ideological and political education directed to university students. As a summary and analysis of the achievements, experiences and major defects in current researches, the first section lays a foundation for the further study in this thesis.The second section (chapter 1) explains the necessity of innovation in the new-period ideological and political education directed to university students. This chapter analyses different influences on the ideological and political education directed to university students from five perspectives: the changes of social economic environment, the coexistence of diversified cultures, the deepening of the higher education reform, the infiltration of information network propagation, and the weakening of ideological education's function. Therefore it displays and emphasizes the urgent need of reform and innovation in the new-period ideological and political education directed to university students.The third section (chapter2) analyses the basic principles of the new-period ideological and political education directed to university students. Five points are discussed in this part, including the virtuous interaction between humanism and all-round development, the organic combination of one-way instilling and three-dimensional interaction, the dialectical unification of the mainstream education and diversified developments, the integration of persuasive education and strict management, and the optimization and promotion of inheritance and innovation, which offer theoretical basis and guidelines for the innovation and development of the new-period ideological and political education directed to university students.The forth section (chapter 3) probes into the innovative methods of the new-period ideological and political education for university students. This part argues to enhance the backbone-cultivation for the ideological and political education, to improve the efficiency of its theoretical education, to resolve both ideological problems and practical problems, to enrich the new carriers of the ideological and political work, and to let the Party, the League and the students associations to play an active role. The chapter, with highlighted key points and abundant countermeasures, aims to enhance the pertinence of the reform and innovation of the ideological and political education for university students.The fifth section (conclusion) further emphasizes that in the ideological and political education for university students, we should keep pace with the changing time and the developing society, enrich and upgrade our education work, and strive to create a new situation, rather than stick to old rules or pursue a solution good for all the time.The ideological and political education directed to university students is a complicated systematic project that touches upon many social sciences such as pedagogy, psychology, sociology, cultural and political studies. Therefore multidisciplinary and comprehensive researches are required. For this reason, centering on the above-mentioned contents, this thesis strive to deepen the countermeasure research on the basic principles and innovations of the ideological and political education directed to university students, and to make breakthrough and innovations in the research perspectives and research fields. While in the research methods, attaching great importance to the unification of theory and practice, of literature method and investigation method, of history and logic and of inheritance and innovation, this thesis makes use of various theories and methods to achieve the organic integration of theory analysis and realistic quest, of experience summary and practical application, so as to continuously enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of researches on the ideological and political education for university students and to further promote the innovation and development of the ideological and political education directed to university students.
