With the growing popularity and development of the network, the network is playing an increasingly double-edged role in the college students. On the one hand ,The network makes the students convenient in learning, improves efficiency and broadens the horizons of the students; On the other hand, some students abandoned their studies due to addict to the network, even worsely, some have even suffered from serious psychological and physiological disease, which is called "Internet addiction" in psychology. Consequently, "Internet addiction" is harmful to the family, school and the society. Therefore, it is necessary to make an investigation to the college student's network addiction, and analyze the factors involved in the addiction in order to explore the effective ways and methods to prevent and cure the college student's network addiction.This research adopts the method of the questionnaire survey, reading the documents, interviews with the individuals. The research shows that: the college students addicted to the Internet failed to control his time on the internet while they are on the internet, furthermore, they became more and more indulged in it due to the satisfaction brought about by the internet; The vast majority of those students reflect in the followings: indulgence in the internet, difficult to socialize, indifference, decline in their studies and so on. It makes a enormous negative impact in the world value, life value and value sense of the college students addict to the internet .Therefore, the thesis deeply analyzes this issue with perspective of psychology, sociology and etiology, and proposes some countermeasures to strengthen the prevention and the cure on the college students addict to the internet.
