From Han to Tang Dynasty is the most important period in the development of Chinese examination."Shi Ce"of Han Dynasty was the earliest form of written examination, then the examination also appeared in the"Xiao Lian"subject of"Cha Ju", and it turned depressed under the system of"Jiu Pin Zhong Zheng"in Wei and Jin Dynasties. It was until Sui and Tang Dynasties that the Imperial Examination was formally established. The official selecting system went through a spiral course, i.e. selecting by moral, by moral combined with writing, by race and by writing. The variation from"Cha Ju"to"Ke Ju"(the Imperial Examination) is inevitable in the development of examination, and also the result of the competition among different social estates. The impersonality and impartiality of the examination was beneficial to official selecting, and accorded with the need of the feudal government. With the relative equality, the Imperial Examination enforced the centralization, promoted the mobility of scholars, relieved the contradiction and ensured the stability of the society. The examination development of Jiangxi district in Han and Tang Dynasties was determined, on one side, by the reformation of the national official selecting system, and on the other side, by the attraction of being officials through passing the examination. The prosperity of the examination in Jiangxi district was related with the frequency of the wars in northern area and the stability in southern area in Han and Tang Dynasties. The economic prosperity enhanced the advancement of the culture. Simultaneously, the prevalence of Jiangxi Buddha and Taoist culture also accelerated the development of the examination. The evolution of the examination, particularly the establishment of the Imperial Examination system, had a profound influence on the development of education of Jiangxi district. The Imperial Examination boosted the growth of official schools, private schools and ancient academies, leading to the formation of the Trinitarian educational system. What's more, the system improved the style of self-study of Jiangxi scholars; Living and studying in the mountain and forestry became a shining view in Jiangxi education of Tang Dynasty.
