Teacher morality construction in universities is an important issue under the new situation, and whether it is successful or failure will greatly influence the citizen morality construction and economic and social development. The so-called new situation is that the economy construction and social development of China enter a new period while the well-off society is being constructed comprehensively and the socialist harmonious society is being developed totally. Under such a situation, an even higher degree of teacher morality construction is needed for university's training socialist builders, and there is a severe challenge is before the teacher morality construction as the universities are facing a far complicated international environment and a increasingly diversified domestic social environment. Recent years, there is a phenomenon that socialism moral civilization and teacher's occupational morality are deviated from its tradition, which brings about some harm to the teaching cause.It is under such a background in the time, this dissertation searches and analyzes relevant theory literatures on the teacher morality construction in university, uses those pioneers''study results as reference, suggests a teacher morality philosophy under the condition of socialism market system, produces some principles, targets and requirements for the teacher morality construction, tries to make clear the features and laws of the teacher morality construction under the new situation, and actively promotes an idea and system innovation of the teacher morality construction on the basis of above analysis. Besides, this dissertation adopts such positive study method as questionnaire to summarize the problem existing in the teacher morality construction presently, analyzes the deep reasons resulting in the crisis of the teacher morality construction in university. Moreover, the related study on the teacher morality construction in university overseas is contrasted and analyzed, the experience of which gives three benefiting references for the study of this dissertation.Based on above analysis, this dissertation suggests seven channels for the solution to strengthening the teacher morality construction in university, such as enhancing the teacher morality instruction, setting up a material teacher morality code, establishing a scientific mechanism for evaluating teachers'performance, establishing an effective encouragement mechanism, strengthening the law system on the teacher morality construction, and optimizing the environment of the teacher morality construction, so as to make some contribution to the practice of the teacher morality construction in university.
